News — Pontardulais Town Band

 

Formed in the late 19th century by workers in the tin, steel and coal industries, Pontardulais Town Band is now one of the most successful and dynamic Brass Bands in Britain. Based in the South Wales Brass Band heartland, ‘Bont’ band regularly perform across the UK, whilst still remaining rooted in the community by playing a major role in local events.

We compete in National competitions, and are currently graded in the Championship Section in the UK and in the Welsh League and perform a regular series of concerts

Pontardulais Town Band are keen to promote the future of brass musicianship, and we have an excellent provision for beginners and learners of all ages and abilities within our Brass@Bont Academy.
